Kevin Bronson, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer - FitzPatrick, Pilgrim, Vermont Yankee
Kevin Bronson was named senior vice president and chief operating officer for Entergy Nuclear’s FitzPatrick, Pilgrim and Vermont Yankee Stations, effective November 2011. Prior to that announcement, Bronson served as site vice president of Entergy’s James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Station since November 2010.
Bronson previously held the position of site vice president at Entergy’s Pilgrim Station where he was responsible for the day-to-day operation, performance, reliability, and safety of Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station. Responsible and accountable for the overall guidance and direction of approximately 680 employees and ensured that all functions were undertaken in strict compliance with rigid corporate and regulatory policies and procedures.
Bronson joined Entergy in 1981 at Vermont Yankee where he held positions in operations, qualifying as a shift manager and moving through the ranks to General Manager, Plant Operations. In 2004 Bronson participated in the INPO Loanee Team Manager Program. In 2007 he was promoted to the position of Site Vice President at the Pilgrim station.
Prior to joining Entergy, Bronson served in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Program.
His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in business management from Franklin Pierce College, NH as well as being awarded Senior Reactor Operator License certification.
